Why do lesbian films suck so much? WHY???

The Girl was way pretentious in a bad way. The lack of dialogue got severely annoying. There were some nice moments in juxtaposing images, but that was about it. Oh, and "the painter" looked like Justine Frischmann for a brief moment, which was sort of hot.

Hurray for the randomness of my Netflix queue!

The Curse of the Jade Scorpion was based on a good idea--do a throwback to classic screwball comedies. While I thought this was an excellent effort, especially in regard to the "look" of the film, it somehow fell short. Okay, this version of Full On Idle on the new Breeders album is messing with my mind. Are these the same lyrics as on Pacer? (i like the Amps version better)

So yesterday i decided to go see CQ knowing absolutely nothing about the film. I won't go over the plot because you can read IMDB or something for that, but I will say that it was worth my 6 bucks. Life as a House - I couldn't help but feel totally manipulated, but sometimes that's not a bad thing. Kristin Scott Thomas has to be one of the most beautiful people on the screen. Absolutely lovely.
