don't bother gettin' rid of the ego. criticism and disdain for the ego is created by the ego.
and... self doesn't exist. so you can't really know it anyway.
basically.... you can't loose your ego and still know yourself. so my advice... don't get rid of the ego and focus your energies on socialist and eqalitarian values.
