House Cleaning need a Piano?
I am trying to make some room in my house and would like to sell a beautifully cared for Kimball Upright Piano and Bench. The Piano needs a good home and most likely a tune up. I found a week!
Ardenwood was a success for Magical Fire Arts!! That is really good since our receipts an events have been down about 50% form 2007. I was seriously wondering if I would be able to continue to vend at events with the way our sales had been going. It’s bad when the amount that is coming in barely covers the vending fee and the cost of goods sold!

Getting ready for Faire
All this last week I have been working on getting ready for faire next weekend. I loaded the kiln this morning and it will be ready to unload tomorrow morning. Amazing I can now post to LJ and FB from work. We had a program that blocked our access and I think that with the economic slow down that the company didn't renew the subscription when it was up! Magical Fire Arts had it’s first event of 2009 in March at Sonora. The economy is still impacting the sale of our glass and ceramics. I hope that this year will improve, and Sonora was better than last year. Our second event was the Martinez Peddlers Faire. That was very slow and bad. Things are better!
Just a brief update before I get some sleep. Mom was discharged yesterday. She is home and doing ok. She is learning the 3 minute rule. She is suppose to move from one position into another position and then hollp in giving her brain time to process the info and regulate her blood pressure. Mom called the office at about 1:30 and said she had the runs and she was having a hard time getting around in the wheel chair. So I asked if she wanted me to come home. Life in general
Lets see, a lot has been going on. In March we were vendors at Sonora Celtic Festival. It was absolutely beautiful and I really wish we had been out doors. It would have made for much better sales, more foot traffic. It was ok but not what I expected. December January February, where did they go?
Where did December, January and February go? Oh yes, December was the holidays, no surprise about that month flying by. Christmas was good accept for the attack of the killer dogs.
