Unbelievable cookies, that I liked to eat frozen.  Cool whip and yogurt pie.  Curling hair with the curling iron. Giving her manicures.  Sitting out with my sister in Grandma's backyard in Florida. Walking together, talking together, shopping together, singing together, laughing, hugging, crying.  Miss you Grandma.

It has been a while since I wrote anything, so here is a quick update.  The summer was good, but way too short.  We made a road trip to Hershey Park with Lisa and her little one.  We had a really great time.  School started, all the kids seem to be doing ok.  I was worried about Marti starting middle school,  but she seems to be doing just fine.  I ( Read more... )

My girls left for camp yesterday.  I miss them already. The house is really quiet.  I know they will have a great time but 6 weeks is long.

My hair is sooooo blonde now.  I just had it double processed for the second time.  It is really white blonde.  Luv it and it is still soft!

I cracked a tooth and need to get a crown put on.  Not a big deal I say.  My dentist says, "Gee I wish all my patients were so agreeable.'  I think to myself, ' This is a hell of a lot better than where I was a year ago, right at that moment."   Anyhow,  I can't complain,  things are ok and I can wear barrettes in my hair.  Who could ask for more?

Everyone say a big Happy Birthday to  my oldest BFF.   Btw,  I don't mean old in age old,  just in longevity of friendship.  Tonight we party!!!

Today is the one year anniversary of when I found the lump.  What a year it has been.  Again,  I thank all for the love, help, support, kind words, etc. 

So It seems this medication is working at this dose. I didn't have any attackes of real pain yesterday. But it makes me feel so stoned. Especially, about an hour after I take it.  Which is right now, so if i have as many spelling errors as TMac here, it is because of the pills. This isn't too bad.

After an amazing Bat Mitzvah weekend,  I come down with a new medical affliction.  I have something called trigeminal neuralgia.  Very very painful, if you want to know more,  just Google it.  You won't like what you read.  I actually had this 5 years ago and it disappeared before I had it diagnosed. Went to see my Grandma yesterday.  She is turning 96 today.  My Grandma hasn't been there mentally for over 10 years now, but yesterday I felt like she knew it was me.  I sometimes think that her brain is functioning but her body isn't allowing her to speak or communicate.
