Got back to work today to find out a coworker I had planned on carpooling with was killed over the weekend. I wasn't as close to him as some, but closer than others. Just goes to show that you never know when your number is up. -
MN weirdness
Just got back from MN last week from cleaning out my some of my parent's house. It was a real disaster...lots of mildew and not at all the pristine clean home I used to live in. TC has pics. It literally made me sick and I have been in bed since my return. Today I got antibiotics, steroids, and an inhaler from the doc so I'm feeling a little ( Read more... ) -

How do you explain death to a 3 year old? We did our best to tell the girls about Nana Sue last night, but I know they don't get it. That's my girl? Boy is TC in for it!
Normally, Anna is the one who ends up getting "time outs" at daycare, mainly because she hasn't learned to verbalize her frustration yet and ends up hitting or throwing things. However, yesterday Lena got a time out. For dancing on the table. Yup, I said dancing on the table. Oi vey are we in trouble!
