This year of grad school has been extremely up and down. This weekend has been more up than down, though. Most of I have spent not thinking about school, and enjoying Austin City Limits music festival. It has been awesome. Excuse the shortness of all these postings. I had a party today and went to one. I was not awkward. It was awesome! And I mingled like a pro!

My roommate's parents got a goat. They were going to eat it, but they seem to be rather attached to it. It is a really cute goat with a brown head and a white body. That is all for now.

I am in vast amounts of pain. I will never go running again. Damn these people that tell us that exercise is healthy...

So I did more driving today and NO ONE DIED. HA! You might say, "But Sarah, what about when you made that right turn into oncoming traffic?" and I would say, "Well, first of all, I'm in Florida, so everyone here has one foot in the grave anyway, so let's not count that." A random thought I was having today as I was driving my grandparents car around the development (and yes, I was practicing driving AND thinking at the same time...) is why many people I interact with are not more polite? Today I sat in an ant hill and now I have bites all up and down BOTH my legs. Alas. I always have some skin problem when I come to Florida. Sometimes it's heat rash, other times sunburn, occasional allergic reaction to sunscreen, the odd mosquito bite, but ANT bites. Now this is something new...
