Yes, you heard right. Me an' the would-be missus are singin' the unemployed, underpaid, git-th'-heck-outta-here blues, so we're SELLING IT ALL!!! Or at least most. Some, really. Down Time
It's always a very strange thing when I finally have downtime. When a job ends, the words "I'm free!" are the first to fly out of my mouth, and it's never true. There are always odds and ends, always things I'm called back for, and it takes anywhere from a couple weeks to a month to really put a project to bed ( Read more... ) -
The real deal
So the real, final engagement ring was finished today, and bugamok and I picked it up from the jewelers. She insisted on having it put on her finger RIGHT THEN. It's never even seen the inside of a jewelry box, and that's okay by me. She proceeded to spend the next hour saying "Oooh, sparkly" every few minutes. I think she likes it ( Read more... ) -

So finally, an event six years to the day in the making ... bugamok and I are engaged! I proposed on October 1, which also happens to be her birthday. None of the details have been worked out, but we're getting there. We also convinced fortunova that yes, we do, in fact, absolutely want her to officiate our wedding.
