June 1st update!

I am going on a vacation to Portland in two days so I thought instead of looking for jobs or apartments I would instead make a sketch journal update! I got lots of goodies here today for y'all, let's start.

I'm trying to figure out who comprises the Boney Kings of Nowhere, so I can try to place their skulls.... The Satyr on the end is that black-furred one you pointed out once, the bugbear must be Alec, and then... Was it Jim and Eleanor? That can't be right, I thought Lorne was in their band.
So who are the two in the middle?

Second from the left looks like Ike (notice the shark-like teeth) and the third is Lorne, since that's a lion skull.

Right on Ike! The lion is a Nemean lion, like Lorne, but it's a character that hasn't been properly introduced in the comic yet. It's the burly cook from the Greensleeves restaurant. :D

Aw yeah, sketchjournal updates.

Basically I super love your sketch commissions and one day I'm gonna buy one 'cause they are SLICK AS HELL, okay. #SLICKASHELL

I also love your little character page bios. SO SLICK. There is only two real typo/grammar errors that I am seeing: one is with Tim ("but he'll be the first to admit he doesn't know as much about magic..."), and the other is with Sam: "he just takes after his mother and is a human- it's not entirely clear..." (Also the comma should be inside the quotes of "Sah-when.")

GOD, BUT ACTUALLY, THE BON(E)Y KINGS OF NOWHERE POSTERS ARE SUPER SLICK, KORY BF. FFFFF I LOVE THEM. I can totally see a row of these plastered onto some plywood construction wall somewhere. TOTALLY HIP, KORY BF. (The horned human skull is the best skull, okay.)

p.s. the filler for next week is the best thing you've ever drawn, okay. HURP DURP DORKY WHITE STAGS COMIN' THROUGH.

I am really excited about the posters. I feel like maybe they are something people would buy if I sold them? WHO KNOWS. I AM EXCITED THOUGH.

Also I never pass up an opportunity to draw dorky white stags. NEVER PASS IT UP.

OH HEY A SKETCHJOURNAL. I LIKE THOSE.

Those sketch commissions are pretty keen, man! There's something about the line quality I really like, and the drawings seem even swoopier and 'cleaner' than usual.

AND I AM REALLY DIGGIN' THE BONEY KINGS POSTERS DUDE. The stark layout and skull theme is really nice! I agree, the glowing holes on the bugbear skull look really keen, but the squiggly lines look out of place. A spider or other critter on it would be much better. Oh man, the freaky shark-ish teeth on the Ike skull. I really dig those. Is Pierce still in The Boney Kings? I wanna see the freaky bird/raptor skull.

I'm also laughin' at that Portland filler pic, hahaha. DORKY DEER FACE. That's so cool that there's an actual Portland sign with a white deer, hah!

AW MAN DAVID/PIERCE/WHATEVER HIS NAME IS. Fffff I totally forgot about him bein' an official member of the band and I was all "hurp durp four posters fit nicely on two pages la la la". I will have to figure out what an ouzelum skull looks like and make one for him.

Yeah as soon as I realized that that sign was actually called the "white stag sign" I kind of couldn't help myself because, as previously stated, I am a huge freakin' dork.

I love the Boney Kings of Nowhere poster, the skulls look awesome. And I wish I could commission you, the sketches look great and I envy them.
