Braces Saga Over
The braces are off. I'm "done" with TMJ treatment. I will, however, have a night splint to wear FOREVER! I also now have permanent retainer wires attached to the backs of my teeth to hold them in place forever. I should be more happy. But, I'm just tired ( Read more... ) -
Melatonin
Have to give a big thanks to thatjen for commenting that my bad dreams may be due to melatonin. I've been taking it for a month or so and it hasn't helped my sleep at all. After her comment I did some research and found that vivid dreams is a common side effect. I also found that in some cases it can make sleep issues WORSE! Strange Dreams
I've been having really weird dreams lately. For the most part I don't get more than a couple of hours of good sleep a night (induced by muscle relaxers). It amazes me what I don't post
I went back through my posts trying to find something and it wasn't there. Evidently, I never posted about it, which surprises me. I've been having pains in my chest today on the left side, hurts worse when I breath or move or exert. Had a good weekend overall. Friday night I picked up a new supplement, D-Ribose. It's supposed to help with energy (and possibly depression). All the reviews I could find online looked promising. I'm thinking it may already be helping with the energy side of things ( Read more... ) -
Braces Saga Coming to an End
I don't think I posted the greatest thing about last weeks trip. I've been getting comments the last few months at the Orthodontists office that the braces would be coming off soon (at one point I thought even as early as April). Not really sure what to say. I cancelled my appt for today with Dr Kumar and made an appt to see Dr. Williams on Friday. My anxiety seems to be getting better but the depression is definitely not. You know it's bad when you get away and you can't pull yourself out.

Anniversary
We made it out on Tuesday night for our anniversary, swinging by CostCo on the way to dinner. We picked up the new mattress - Novafoam. It's still in the box until we find a night when we can get away (need to let it expand for 24 hours before use), which may mean we wait a couple more weeks until we are heading out of town anyway.
