I swore I wasn't going to write a post- Wilson's Heart tag. Except...I kept musing over House's behavior after Chase fries his brain. We don't really see House talking or even reacting much to anything after that and I got to wondering what if it took a while for his circuits to reset

Brilliant. Thank you for touching on the possibility that House may not be "back to normal" after frying his brian. I rather hope they do something with that on the show... What is House like when his greatest asset, his brian, is not working on all cylinders?

That was wonderful -- I loved how House kept teetering just on the edge of having a fully functional brain. And his realization that having Cuddy take care of him wasn't such a bad thing. (And her knowing exactly how to care for him and when to give in.)

One of the things I hope for next season is to see House do a little re-evaluating of his life (whether it's the result of brain damage or of having watched Wilson lose Amber). I don't want him to change, but I'd like to see him stop for a minute and think about what it means to have people like Wilson and Cuddy in his life.

Honestly, as many near death experiences as House has had by now, it's got to have had some kind of impact. It would be nice if we could actually see some of the consequences.
