it's been sunny today, finally! well it's actually a little overcast, but it's close enough because it's warm enough to wear a skirt and tanktop around the town. i went running this morning and discovered all these trails behind a museum that lead me to this antique lake and a stone bridge with these circular arches supporting. and my mom was showing me how she's going to have a garden with vegetables and a path down the middle in the backyard, and then a separate garden for herbs and flowers. i'm leaving ( Read more... )

i've been taking pictures of the sky and trees outside my window, yesterday of the trees this nice spring-light-green color against the dark grey sky; tonight of the horizon this early-evening blue and a sliver of the moon and some treeshadows. and it's perfect weather to be outside at night with: a hoodie, headphones and yo la tengo.

so last night was incredible! it was a such a nice atmosphere. there was this little boy there with his father, standing on a chair, pressed up against the fence, just staring at the band the whole time. and the guy that i asked what the time was had a re ally nice smile. they opened with one of their mellow songs, that remind me of when i listened ( Read more... )
