it's something i've always been back-and-forth about, but last night i was really thinking about this and though i still don't have a definite stance, i do have a question. how can it be plausible that a woman can legally abort her baby up until it is nine months old (i mean nine months since conception), but can go to jail for YEARS if she were to

i'm not completely against abortions, but i do think they are far too easy to get. i don't see how a woman doesn't have to provide *any* reason whatsoever for aborting (which is a fancy word for "killing") her baby a week before it's born, but if she felt she didn't want her baby when it's just a week old and decided to kill it, she will be thrown in jail for a great length of time. isn't it ultimately the same thing - killing your baby before or after it's born?
some people who are set on having a boy or a girl will have an abortion just to make sure they get the sex they want. that makes me really uncomfortable.

You know how i feel about this my dear! Pro-life! I dont think anyone can legitimately make that kind of life altering decision until they are put into that position. Everyonae told me from day one to have an abortion because they did not want to be put out by me and my child. Even after we found out about Tyler's tumor I still stood by my decision not to have an abortion. We knew that he probably would not make it, but why end a life that could potentially make it through. These people get all knocked up and cant handle the consequences. if you cant handle it, dont do the deed!
