Version 2 of that neat app stats meme, because I've added two characters to my roster since last year \o/
Sohma Momiji from "Fruits Basket" (must_bebunnies)

Reason For Dropping: I love Momiji, a lot. He's one of my favourite characters and even though the mangaka SCREWED HIM SOMETHING AWFUL, I will always love him for being the most adorable bunny-boy with the kindest heart, a sweet disposition, and a sunny outlook on life despite being horribly Sohma'd. Aeon and Imp told me about CFUD and were like "YOU SHOULD APP MOMIJI" and after a lot of whining on my part and a lot of bribing on theirs, I sat down to write an app. Frustration ensued. But my love for Momiji prevailed!!!-- and went up against the most amazing Momiji app ever in a dup batch. A BUNCH OF MONTHS LATER, Aeon and Imp poked me to app Momiji again, so I tweaked my app a little and sent it in and YAY VICTORY \o/ And then... I just. Sucked at playing him in camp. I was too nervous/shy to throw him out into posts and meet people, which was dumb because Momiji is super-sociable and makes friends fairly easily! And that was a mixture of my being overprotective of Momiji (because bunny has enough trauma in his life ;__;), partly me being an anxious retard, and partly me thinking "must keep Sohma family secret safe!" which ... doesn't even make sense to me now, but there we go! Either way, he wasn't really estabilishing any relationships and with all these problems plus school suddenly topping me with grant proposals, field studies, term papers, and learning to recognize 100-something bird calls... I figured things wouldn't get better and I threw in the towel.

Reason For Apping: Nodame Cantabile was kind of love at first screening. I was pretty much head over heels for the JDrama from the get-go and the weird, spastic, adorable character of Nodame quickly became one of my favourite characters ever. I discovered that Ando was playing anime!Nodame in camp and went all "APP CHIAKI-SEMPAI" at Impulse when Aeon and I visited her for AX. My secret plan was to app Masumi up until Nodame was dropped, and then tables got turned on me by Imp. Still, it didn't take much convincing because I adore Nodame; if I had a spirit-animal-character-thing, she would be it! Kind of. I can't say I fully understand her thought processes, but she kind of blurts out the first thing that comes to mind and is mostly impulsive and kooky and a blast to play! I need to canon-review on a regular basis because I lose my grasp on her voice quite often, but it's worth it because I have the best Chiaki-sempai ever, I never get tired of her canon, and Nodame is my forever-girl ♥
Select Option 3? Team Mascot and CFUD Sentai! And any thread with Usopp is always A++ :Db

Reason For Apping: The second season of the Hana Yori Dango JDrama started airing right around when I dropped Momiji. I had really enjoyed the first season (being a MatsuJun fangirl and all) so it was a given that I would watch this second installment too, but I got really impatient between episodes and started reading the manga as well. At some point I thought "Gosh, I'd love to RP Makino somewhere - she's kind of kick-ass and strong-willed while still being a really naive pushover. But I'd rather have JDrama!Makino and no one will ever app JDrama!Domyoji". So I kind of shelved that idea. And then Domyoji apped into camp and was (and still is!) amazing. So I went "SDLFSKG:LAKGSDG DO WANT MAKINO TO PLAY OFF OF DOMYOJI" but there was another Makino-apper in the beta post and dup apps remain terrifying to me. I offered myself as a beta and waited three months before caving. I e-mailed Domyoji all "Can I be your Makino? ;o;" and had Aeon baiting me to write my app with the promise of a HYD Final photobook. I liked Makino a lot to begin with, but I get progressively fonder of playing her with time because she's so normal and easy to play, even if she isn't the funniest or coolest character.
Select Option 3? Apparently I love Makino's pain. Anything that makes her "S:DLFSKG:LSKG" or involves her being manipulated is awesome in my books :Db

Reason For Apping: While trying to write an app for another character, Booster topped herself into apping Ned instead while I went "Nyuuuu app that other character!!" But then I caught a new episode of Pushing Daisies on TV while at my grandma's and kind of went "... wow, this show is totally up my alley". So I downloaded the first episode and proceeded to flail at Booster about how adorable it was omg, good choice apping Ned. And then I ran out to Blockbuster's to rent the rest of the show and flailed more until I finally conceded to Booster and myself that yes, I did want to app Chuck because even though she's not my favourite her sunny optimism, teasing, and meddlesome ways absolutely made her my type and gosh she would be so fun to play! And she is fun to play and I love this canon like burning, so yay Ned for semi-topping me into apping Chuck ♥
Select Option 3? I would love for Chuck to terrify Cornelia with her cheerful perkiness more! A-And the Fire Nation kids, sooooob.
