So just come back from the HBP film. I think I'm going to have to apply my rule of "don't ever compare the book to the film" on this one - film was good, but it was quite lacking in plots and... idk seemed to be missing something. Was watching a program the other day about 1930s Ocean Liners. In particular the Queen Mary and Normandie. Man... those things simply exude so much class. Why don't we have those sorts of things now a days? Now a days 'class' is seen as merely piling on the technology and lights and being generally quite gaudy *cough*Dubai*cough*. Good result all around
Armenia end up with 5 bronze medals from the Olympics (they have finished all their events) - two from wrestling, three from weightlifting. I think that's a pretty amazing effort. I mean yes, Armenians have always had a history of being decent in strength sports but they have nothing like the funding of the massive western cultures for training ( Read more... ) -

It's amazing that we can spend an entire semester learning about how to minimise waste and such with sustainable design and eco-friendly things and then the very next the uni will go and get us two lecturers from Brisbane who fly down and back up every week just to teach us... *sigh ( Read more... ) -

Long story short, I've spent the past age looking for a new runabout to replace the Fiat due to it potentially costing me an absolute fuckton I simply don't have - and the engine producing epic amounts of smoke now which is quite disturbing and kinda embarrassing. Well hello everyone! It has been a while since I updated this thing. In fact, an entire semester. Whoa. That's a long time. *Reads last entry* Before Armenia. Wow. So yeah, exams appear to be all the rage. Can't wait until next weekend when a whole bunch of stuff is happening. Woot. Holidays are soooo close.
