Went to try my luck at Carmax today with the 2003 Civic Hybrid I bought from my dad's bank after he passed in 2007. Cost $5K then, it's more than earned that value considering I didn't have a car at all at that point. Well, they would only give me $3,000 in trade in value, much less outright.
