Aurora is reborn with Gundam (who has lost his memories). Inside of Fullmetal. Lolz are had all around.
-After leaving the Hatchery with Gundam
they run into Cara, where he learns the date (WTF HALF A YEAR) and, quite shocked, he moves in with Gundam for the moment.
-Off screen he checks his old home in Section 2 to find it cleaned out. Though he'd not materialistic, there are still things that are irrationally precious to him.
-Unbeknownst to him,
Yehuda is being a troll and plotting naughty things.
-As a way of coping over so much lost time,
he makes an entry documenting known facts about his death/rebirth; sticking to hard data is much easier. He is also looking to get those irrationally precious things back.
---
-
Crow updates him on Sniper's return as Range and Bastet's promotion to Guard Captain.
-
He meets Roswell, a new hatchling, who seems to be refreshingly productive, and learns some slang.
-Hearing from
Lucy was a relief, as she is very special to him (pings him for Chris and is also acting as his Desu in ES, even though his canon is not that far). His overbearing concern is poorly translated as he insists on taking Lucy to medical, to make sure she's 100% so he won't worry, even though she doesn't want to.
Cara interjects with her opinion on the matter, but Lucy and Aurora compromise on their own to meet over lunch. This is fine, since he just wants to see/know that she's doing all right.
-
Bastet updates him further on Range and on Mirage, who is now going by Yehuda. They, predictably, get in a cat fight, thought Aurora actually makes baby steps in taking a moment and analyzing his own feelings, attempting to gauge if he's being retarded. It doesn't really work but hey, it's a start.
-
He questions Yehuda on the name change, unaware that his twin has been reborn with no memories. He confirms they'll be returning to their former living arrangements once he's settled and ponders if their closely timed "rebirths" were a result of their connection, aka being the same being, and Yehuda implies like a dick that he has remembered something about their past/origin but doesn't offer any real info. GDI YEHUDA.
-
Raise comments and instead of this update over the journal bullshit he tells him to meet up with them at Gundam's place.
Awkward Meister hug pile ensues.
-
Justice, who is someone Aurora would rather not see, comments, and they snark a little. He makes sure that Justice's dislike of him won't affect his return to Housekeeping, and then learns JUSTICE HAS A COMPUTER. WHICH HE WILL LET AURORA TINKER WITH. AND INFORMS HIM WHERE HE CAN GET HIS OWN. Aurora is like a fat kid with a N64 on Christmas day.
-
Cara makes sure they're settled in.
-He and
Kazahana have a neutral but relatively pleasant chat, in his opinion. She updates him on various things, like Justice's promotion to housekeeping administrator.
-
He's glad to see Bridge is still around, since they are the Geek Squad of ES, and nerd over new projects. He is still convinced stupid robo dog ate his cardigan. It was a really comfy one, too Q_Q
-
THEN RANGE COMMENTS and Aurora is like KDJFKSL. He's pissed at himself for missing Range's rebirth, since he's only been stalking the hatchery since he came back from Rivelata waiting for this guy, and he assumes things will be like they were before. Lost your memories? No big deal, we're still ultimate bros &hearts
-Some asshole, later identified as
Zombie, claims Aurora is the dude with the fridge in him. Initially Aurora is like wtf is this guy on but then realizes he might be referencing the fact that Aurora is not human. It doesn't help that Zombie said he got his info from Raise, which is giving Aurora conniptions because RAISE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO KNOW. Praise is gonna get bitched down, that is for certain. Yehuda makes matters worse by playing
GUESS THE TWIN and now Zombie wants to break Yehuda's hands. Fucking fuck. Family is such a pain in the ass why is he bothering with it. Oh yeah, because Yehuda is the only other person like him and that is so important to him, because otherwise he would be a lonely freak robot that no one cares about.
-He and
Ghost seems to be progressing from rocky ground to a tentative friendship, especially when Ghost agrees not to say naughty words and risks a lot by offering potentially valuable information. Maybe he'll reconsider being such a bitch about Ghost and Smoke dating.
---
--He sees Sight has come back but has apparently lost his memories, going by
Bell. Since the two of them used to be amiable acquaintances he decides and help out and informs him that no, there isn't a library. It progresses into a discussion about books and what is beautiful. LOL PHILOSOPHY.
-He notices that
things are
going missing.
-
Gene shows up, looking for Range, so of course Aurora goes all overprotective girlfriend on him. Through a convenient survey he deduces that they are identical in appearance and initially thinks Gene is a variant, but later doubts this theory as the evidence points elsewhere. He wonders if Range also has a twin like he does.
Yehuda has to add in his creepy 2 cents, as usual.
-Returning from the marketplace,
Aurora meets Jack purely by chance. While initially he scolds him for being a hobo, he learns that Yehuda was born with him and that the two consider each other 'family.' By proxy, that would make Jack his family as well.
-
Bubbles makes a Housekeeping PSA concerning the thefts.
-
An explosion happens, but he was too far away at the time to feel it. He heard it about through people gossiping and initially didn't care.
-
Lucy's post reveals that the target of the explosion was the bookstore. Vanilla's bookstore. He could care less about the store but he cares about his lost friend so he plans to confirm if the statement is true.
Steel and Range offer to come along.
-Team Steel-Range-Aurora
meet up at the Access Point in the City w/o Walls and head to the bomb site.
They run into Gene.
-
Nobody posts blueprints to a mobile suit arm, which catches Aurora's attention. He decides to keep him in mind should he need his services.
-An
offhanded comment to Eyepatch results in a
long argument with Zombie over whether he has a fridge inside him, with a side of YOU'RE A CRAP FRIEND TO RAISE. Aurora is feeling pretty pissed/moe/weepy afterward and misses out on the
creepy pasta from /x/ getting posted.
-OFFSCREEN: Said creepy past freaks out Lucy, who finds Aurora at Gundam's house and needs awkward hug time. Aurora is glad to have something to focus on that isn't "I am my own robot."
