Normal people get Saturday and Sunday's off?

That's what I hear, anyway. No matter how many Saturdays I'm off I'll never qualify as normal, so I don't suppose I'll ever really know.

Huh. Too bad Quidditch is usually weekends... that's prime working time for me!

So. What if someone without hands came to you? Could you get him a broom?

Yeah, that's the way it always was for me in theater. I was off mostly on Mondays.

What Specialty Brooms does is custom-make brooms to fit absolutely any needs. If they want a broom, we can find a way to make it work. Which is a long way of saying "yes."

Remember the terrorist attack on the Experimental Charms building in Kabul? This man was employed there, doing research on anesthetic charms for use in hospitals. One of his experiments ended up getting misdirected in the attack, and now he can't feel or move his legs.

Oh my goodness, that's horrible!! But he wants to fly and that means he isn't dwelling and that's REALLY positive!!! Oh I hope you come up with a really really nice broom for him!! He deserves something good!

Yeah, he's a really cool guy, actually. Just misses being able to fly - so we're working to make it so he can.

I approve of this change! I like seeing you at normal times, even if you get up far too early these days. And I'm glad you don't regret changing jobs for me

We can go out tomorrow night. We can even hold hands now.

Well, into every life a little rain must fall. I'll take the slightly earlier hours for being able to go out together in public.

So where should we go tomorrow? I haven't been to Lift in ages. And this time, no flirting with vapid married women with overdone enhancement charms.

Lift sounds excellent. I'm all for it.

I've been thinking about switching jobs, too. So, you're happy? I'm glad to hear it.

It was a good change. What are you thinking about switching to?

You sound like my godson when he's telling me about the Incredible Erumpet "And then this... Oh but this... Ooh, and you know what else he can do?"

Not that that's a bad thing. Good to see you happy, at least.

Yeah, sorry. Enthusiasm's a bad habit I can't seem to break.

But thanks, Cherry. I appreciate the good thoughts.
