It wasn't unusual for Jack to go out without him, but the hours just kept on ticking by, and Logan was getting more and more bored with every passing moment. He practically dragged Jack away from the party, holding his hand tightly and grinning as he lead the way outside and into the snow.
"I'm sorry I'm so bad at parties," he said as they walked. "I've been trying though. I was really trying hard tonight." -

Last year, Logan hadn't enjoyed New Years Eve. ...Well, okay, he'd enjoyed being dragged to bed and screwed, so drunk that he had no inhibitions at all... But the rest of the night had sucked.
