I don't have to work today because of an unanticipated five day weekend. I'd love to say that I was using my time off to do productive things that I've been avoiding, like purging my closet and joining a gym, but instead I'm mostly knitting and taking the extra time to dry my hair every morning. I spent Easter weekend in Idaho, which was great. I got to hang out with my godmother and my cousin and his ferret. The ferret was not the best part, but I'd never met a ferret in person before, so that was a learning experience. Who's watching Top Model tonight? I might. I don't know. For several cycles now there has been no one remotely interesting or likable, least of all Tyra Banks. I haven't posted about soft drinks in a long time, so I feel comfortable mentioning that this weekend I purchased a 12 pack of the new Diet Berries and Cream Dr. Pepper. It's been a pretty good twenty four hours in a boring simple pleasures sort of way.
