We hauled our butts out of bed at 3:00 a.m., met up with my work buddies and set off for Purdy, Missouri. It was hot when we got there at 5:45. Some volunteers issued us hardhats and t-shirts and we walked down to the job site.

I am now officially a Mystery Guest, a paid food critic! :) The company tells me to eat at a certain restaurant, when to go and some basic criteria to judge. Then they reimburse me for the meal (usually for me and one other) and $5 for my opinion. I made grilled lamb chops marinated with garlic, lemon juice, oregano and s&p. Bobby Flay has a great recipe for grilled ratatouille. Yummmmmm!!!
