Highlight of the trip: 55 consecutive whale breaches.  That's where they jump entirely out of the water, rather than just showing a fin or a tail.

A single breach occurs on about one cruise in twenty.  55 on one tour ran the captain out of patter.

I know the word is already passing via the grapevine, but for those of you haven't heard, my mother passed away this morning at 11:30 after a long battle with dementia.  The final illness was heart failure, and played out over two days.
