Not exactly.
About a month ago I tried to go online to check my bank account and I was locked out. I called, and they said I had entered the incorrect password too many times the previous day, so they locked the account. Of course, I hadn't been to my online banking account in about a week. i once tried to pay for a soda at an interstate resttop with my credit union card, and it wouldn't go through. When i called the credit union, they said they flag tiny purchases (under $2) because those are usual 'test runs' for fraudsters. i bet the 'credit' strategy is them trying to get around that. SNEAKY! Glad you caught it!
