Wo-oh I'm half way there! Wo-oh living on a prayer...
Today is my official half way day! I've been living in Israel for 5 months and 8 days, and in just 5 months and 8 days I will be back with my fiance, family and friends in the good ole US of A.
I like living in Israel, most of the time, but its not the same as being with the people you love -

This week the state of Israel passed a law stating that any gay marraiges officiated outside of Eretz Yisrael would be legally accepted in the land of Israel. Medical, finantial, and other marital benefits, by law, should now be given to any homosexual couple married outside Israel. Today I finished my first paper that is all in hebrew... 2 pages typed with footnotes! I'm sure there are several mistakes, but the fact that I wrote that much in such an academic paper...I feel like I might actually have learned some hebrew this year!
