I grabbed still photos from the Camel Cam Friday morning and caught the tsunami creating a full day's worth of tidal movement in 15 minutes. Yohei took some clear pictures of this bit of beach during the event. Not a good morning to play at the beach.

The forecast is for double digit swell and gale force winds for the next few days. I will have to entertain myself with activities other than swimming in the ocean.

I saw Yohei on Saturday and he told me he was making progress on the board. He is pretty productive. This is the first board he has built with this style of rail construction. I love it. It is just like a little wooden boat. The panel pictured will be the deck.

It has the Tidal Current Velocity and Wave Height and Direction forecasts for the Humboldt Bay entrance in side by side color charts.
