Daily Dale
I should have surfed today even with the 20 kts onshore wind. That is why this showed up on my radar this evening. I think Dale Webster lives in Sonoma County. He has surfed every day for 35 years.

Test pilot
I took my new board down to Centerville to test drive it. The ocean is small and I really wanted to get out into some waves with the wood fish. Centerville was working and there were even a couple of other guys out. The board is hefty and has momentum in the water. In my mind I expected and hoped the board would plane quickly. The last one
I managed to get plenty of surf time last week. It looks like we are slowly moving to a more of the spring weather program. Maybe this was the last week of winter surf for 2011. Vacation drizzle
I finally got back in the water after three weeks of pretty crappy marine conditions. It was almost glassy and 7' at 12 seconds. The water was surprisingly green considering that it has been raining almost nonstop for weeks. It was really good to get back in the water.
