i came home from an extremely truncated and considerably crappy day at work to discover...
...my first homemade chicken egg!! looks like the 2 surviving hens are finally going to start earning their keep.
which is good, because now i can take eggs off of my grocery list :-)

On another note - it turns out I don't need to sew anything bigger than booby-holders, and I can do that by hand. But I'd still like to hang out once before d*c - if only to talk over custody issues again... :D
