I have a question.

Please help an uninformed brother out. Why do so many people hate Hillary Clinton so much? Is it sexism, succesful Republican propaganda, or is there something genuinely wrong with her politics? Honestly, the only person who gets as much hate-media at this point is George W.

I think its mainly sexism.

She'll also loose a lot of the middle/older age women votes, because she didn't kick Slick Willy to the curb (or technically herself) at first sign of infidelity..

Also, unless Generation Y gets out to actually vote, all those depressing LJ posts everybody had in 2004 can be recycled.. We are a graying nation (and will continue to gray) and as we gray, we become more conservative..

I don't know what channels you're watching/what papers you're reading/please tell me you're not citing blogs/etc., but I don't get the same feel as you do, I guess. Maybe it's different in New York?

In the end, it doesn't matter, really. Everyone already made up their mind on how they feel about Hillary from 1991-2001. That's why she is a terrible choice for a candidate.

I don't hate her because she's a female, I don't hate her because she rich and white. In fact, I don't hate her, I just generally dislike her. The reason for this is that she is running on the platform that she will withdraw the troops from the middle east. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be out of that oversized sandbox, but the honest truth is that no matter what any politician says, they will not be able to pull out of Iraq or Afghanistan, it just won't happen. So I dislike her because she knows this and yet still chooses (at this point, maybe it will change) to run on the platform that she will immediately withdraw troops. So she's essentially lying to us.

She talked shit about video games and their connections to violence once. That makes her a political whore.

Now I'm going to go verify this statement to make sure I wasn't slandering her, because in all actuality somebody told me she is guilty of this and I believed it. Anyway, fact-checking time.

I think a lot of the problem is her flip-flopping. I am not saying she is the worst, many candidates have flip-flopped. I think people are scared of change and are using the flip-flopping, her sex, and the Republican propaganda to dissuade the public from change. Now, who would want a female president? (jk)
