I came home just now to find all their signage gone and a for-rent sign. So, you know, in case any of you are interested in moving here and running a funeral home.... -

There is some serious ass lightning going on outside right now. Not much thunder yet (looks like it's over in Jersey right now) but wowsers. No rain yet either, but I can smell it coming so....hopefully this breaks the heat a bit.
Ah, here comes the thunder. Also, forked lightning GALORE. -

It is hot as balls outside! Fortunately (and to my amazement) it is actually not hot inside my apartment. With the fan going, I actually feel quite comfortable (although I will NOT be turning the stove on. Thank goodness for the microwave ( Read more... )
