I had a lot of seemingly russian people (at least their profiles looked to be in russian script) add me. When I sent them a message asking them who they were, they defriended me... weirdness....

apparently they are bots - don't friend them, as they may be sneaking around your account if you let them. Also 'apparently' LJ are looking into the problem. So who knows?! :)

Well you have known me for years and the LJ name is rather a give away but I don't mind if you don't want me on your list I understand keeping things small and personal particularly as my other half is on your list so I'm likely to hear anything important regardless.
