I realized something yesterday.  Something potentially deep and profound.  I also realized something this morning.

I had the absolute funniest idea ever this morning during sunday school.

So we were talking about the Holy Spirit descending and such.  And I started laughing.  Because the idea of suddenly acquiring the Holy Spirit seems like a Zelda game feature.

Yesterday was pretty awesome.

At work, my boss needed me to run to Lowe's.  But I didn't have a car, so he gave me his truck key.  I managed to not cause any vehicular damage.  I think it's a compliment to me that I've worked for him for a week, and he feels comfortable lending me his truck.  Maybe he's not as obsessive about it as dad is about ( Read more... )

I feel so...hypocritical.  All last semester I proclaimed my love for the metric system.  And now I'm working at a place that does measurements almost exclusively in imperial units.

No metric tonnes, no meters cubed.  no kilograms.  Even the degrees are in Fahrenheit.  I think.  Voluminous flow is measured in cubic feet per minute.  And they use... ( Read more... )
