One adventure after another
The past week ended in an adventure a day, of the unexpected sort.
Wednesday, I went to pick up elorie from the airport and meet her for lunch and give her a ride to the city. ambar planned to come along but elorie's plane was delayed, so I wound up soloing up to SFO and ambar went to work. What a yummy day!
Yesterday was completely out of the ordinary and quite a bit of fun. I finally managed to go see the stretching coach I know (who I took a workshop from in 2001), and who should be finishing up a session but sir_ender! We hugged and chatted for a bit before my session and will definitely be getting together to make some mahem in the kitchen ( Read more... ) -
Stick it to me
Had a lovely long-weekend date with ambar that consisted of mostly lying around reading in bed together. That and some tasty cooking -- we hit the local market (which has the most amazing Italian goodies), so dinner one night was imported gnocchi with imported pesto, local Ciabatta, and a salad. I just learned that a dear friend passed away last month. Leona Talley was a long-term member of the Merrie Pryanksters dance troupe, and always a delight to be around. Fancy things!
This afternoon brought the triple crown of fancy things. First was a trip up to the city for a client meeting and a stop at the little deli in the Ferry Market. Icon silliness
We have a very silly dog.
Katja is a 5 year old German Shepard who is always ready to play ball. Since I was feeling geeky, I caught a snip of her and decided it would make a fine icon.
Though, I hope your browser limits the number of times an animated GIF plays, lest this be even worse than the infamous tag.
