I started out saying that last week was a wash. But when I really examine the week, it was quite a formidable one with some interesting results

I too have found great strength from you (because you really are _that friend) and the awesome community we're a part of. It's certainly been difficult. Knowing we have such a great clan to draw from makes a huge difference.
Does sound like you are having some awesome revelations and that making up with your sister is a part of that. Good for you.
I am sorry about your friend who is gone, that is hard, I've lost friends and it is tough and sad-- but here's hoping that revelations continue and your insight deepens.
I would love to have insights for the rest of my life (and I think that I will live a long long time. I have always seen that). Not every day, but in a way that I can really appreciate and get them and take them in. One of my most important philosophies involves the acceptance of change. And if I find my self not allowing for change, than I take a deep look inside.
I admire you, Leslie. Did I ever tell you that? Well, I do.
I don't remember actually formally meeting Hans, which is true of many of my friends (I really honestly don't remember meeting people). But I remember his hair. I'm sorry he is gone. And a bit freaked out about it, as my mother survived the same thing that killed him. But so it rolls. Lady Lucky is a bitch.
Anyway. Hell of a week, Leslie. ::fist bump:: I'm glad for you.
awww thanks love. I admire you a lot too! I love your writing and your own insights that you share with your LJ community.
Hans will truly be missed, and I think we will be informing people for a long time about his death. People don't really forget the hans. so yeah, this is part of the task of being a friend in life or in death.
