Can I just say that the fact that you loved it means more to me than if, say, YouTube loved it? Making someone like you, who has a great sense of humor, laugh is a real honor; also, YouTube hated it.

YouTube apparently hated it, but my parents loved it (and so did you) so all is good in the world.

P.S. I bought A Confederacy of Dunces on Amazon and one of the suggestions for me was Teddy Bear Cannibal Massacre. A closer look revealed a pleasant little surprise.

Someone hit a Canadian goose in the plane I've been training in and it was out of commission for almost a month while the left wing was completely rebuilt. Then, I got to fly the newly repaired plane for exactly one day last week before another student crashed it. Thankfully the student and the CFI are fine, but apparently the airplane was completely totaled (I don't have all the details, something to do with wind shear).

Anyway, it's going awesome. I absolutely love it. I start up again tomorrow with a different plane (but same make/model as the one that got destroyed). I'm hoping to get my license by July and log a hundred hours in '08.

P.S. Did you use any study guides or interactive CDs to prepare for your written test? If so, can you recommend any as helpful or unhelpful?

Yes, Sporty's has a free test engine on their site for private and instrument. http://www.sportys.com/faatest/
Spend a few hours there and you're golden.

Karsten and I are ready for another Quiz Night. Starting next week, I've got Mondays and Fridays off. Karsten is on the 12-hour, so our schedules should hopefully all line up at some point.
