I took grandma to the cancer clinic today. She starts radiation in just over two weeks. Everyone at the cancer clinic is really, really friendly. The cab driver we had was from Algiers and he spoke French. I was all "est-que vous savay ou nous allon?" and then, just like in Finland, he answered, and I got lost. This morning my poetry class met at our regular class time at a coffee place downtown. I don't know why we did this, and I still don't. We got there, took handouts, I ate a bran muffin, then everyone left to go different places. A bunch of us took a list of art galleries that were open and exhibiting and went around to look at them.
