A week after Halloween, I attended a Samhain rit with a local grove. The theme of the rit was on dreams and death, and at the end everyone was given a reminder of the theme. In this case the reminder was a small uranium-glass marble, described by the hosts as "a piece of death".

I had a busy, tiring, yet deeply enjoyable weekend.

Saturday - got up at 6 AM, an hour earlier than I usually get up for work. Grabbed breakfast and coffee on the road, and headed over to aiskon and yduras's place. Normally I wouldn't complain about the plausibility of an episode of Sarah Jane Adventures.
