I had a pretty good weekend. Performed at the Word Monkey label launch on Saturday night. I was pretty crap (but nobody seemed to notice) but when I'd finished my set I drunk lots of polish vodka with gold leaf....and cherry vodka when I'd finished that bottle. Had a difficult day today. Up half the night with E and his asthma so didn't get much sleep. Women's drama workshop was a bit lack-lustre this morning....me, not the participants. Really shocked and upset about the death of Gary Cook. I was only talking to him last week. Special, gentle, lovely person who will be missed. He was a very creative man...poet, musician and warm, outragous and uniquely sensitive person who's smile was legendary. David and I had a very good night out on Friday watching Moriati and the Sith and Abigail's Mercy at the Travellers in Barrow.
