I just got online and saw that you just updated so..yay! for perfect timing! Oh you silly, silly boy Jeff you are going to regret this and when you have to shell out for your own tix when thinking of Annie meeting all nice boys over seas...:sigh: ...so sad. LOL..I started laughing when I saw t=him at the gate, then ya twisted it with him going home..great on your end..lame on Jeff's.

I think it is funny he looks at Annie as the "child" when he can not "man up" and be the adult and face her instead running away and leaving a child to ( yes, I know it is the moms job) to toddle off to a maybe not nice person. LOL.

I probably will get a lot of attitude on Jeff's behalf, but I'll take it. Jeff made the choice that Jeff would make, because he is a jerk a lot of the time. Actually, I'll take the wrath. What I'm worried about is people giving up on the fic because they wanted a big romantic gesture at the airport and they got the opposite. We shall see I guess.

TBH I wasn't expecting that at all. Where would the fun and frustration and suspense be in that?? The way I see it, the longer Jeff debates and toils over this whole thing between him and Annie, the longer this fic gets to be. And that's WIN for us :D

Nah, I don't think you'll lose readership. As you said, you'll just get people raging against Jeff. But honestly, you captured him perfect in this chapter. Especially all the self loathing the man keeps bottled up inside. I was very impressed.

So basically what I'm trying to say is that what makes this story great is that your readers were asking for salt and you gave them soup. Because you know what? Soup is better.
