I wasn't real sure what to expect, but I knew this was a book that I "should have" read a while ago. It was one of the many books in my To Be Read pile purely by how many people are surprised that I hadn't already read it. Definitely a good change of pace from what I normally read, yet it fit in with the styles I really like a lot ( Read more... )

Last night, I finally finished Dick Francis' "Shattered". While calendar days show this one as taking a long while to read, that's mostly because I kept putting it down for weeks on end to do things or forgetting that it was in my car. Yesterday, after work, I went to the PetSmart as this is the weekend of cleaning 3 litter boxes of their stinky messes. I also needed to pick up some food for the kitties, as well.
