Thank you! That's really what I wanted, little snippets of things which could have gone on in the background, that all still fit with the canon but give a different take on Katie's full s4 story, and the impact that she had on other characters' s4 story.

Haha, Cook and Katie should have been in S4 really. It could've been epic. I think Katie would begrudgingly concede that he was good in the sack (I mean, all that practice he gets, surely he's learnt a few tricks?!)

Lol, yeah, Katie can be rather obtuse about things when she wants to be (see Emily being gay), so I don't think she'd necessarily recognise the Tony stuff for what it was until much later. Sort of like the whole Thomas thing, where she's like, oh wait, what?

You know, I had the idea and then immediately dismissed it cause I thought it'd be too much to try and make work convincingly, and then when BB came along I thought about it some more and decided to just go for it. There were definitely bits that I struggled with though, so I'm really pleased you think it felt realistic and not just an excuse to get her to sleep with people, cause like I said above, that wasn't the bit of this that interested me as much as all the different dynamics.

OMG! I didn't know this was going to be Katie/Tony and I am so wonderfully excited, they are love. Anyway I loved the concept of this fic and you made it work so well. (I also now kinda ship Katie/JJ). Great job!

Yeah I had this all written before I posted my picspam and I remember you said about getting fic for them, and I couldn't say that's what I'd done here cause it would have ruined it... but... that's what I'd done! Katie/JJ would have been cute post S3, they'd have balanced each other quite well I think. Thank you!

This was brilliant. You really are the best at ensemble fics. You just seem to ~get everyone perfectly.

Although Cook has always been my favourite person to pair with Katie, you really are doing a good job at challenging that. I now don't know whether I prefer her with Cook or Tony.

I must apologise for not replying to you sooner! I feel rather rude :/

I love Cook with Katie, don't get me wrong, there's a lot of aspects about the pairing that I feel would work. But with Tony, I dunno, I just feel like it would be amplified. And I feel that where Cook would on occasion let Katie wear the trousers, Tony would always challenge that. And the other thing with Cook is the whole Effy relationship which was never really defined as a start/finish, and I think Katie deserves more than being second (not that she'd always be... but... Effy was the first girl that Cook really loved, and she's highly likely to be involved in both Cook and Katie's life as it is, and I feel like it would always provide a flash point). Uh, sorry for my ramble there! tl;dr: I love Cook/Katie, but I love Katie/Tony more!
