[All About You]
Describe your personality:
Quiet, reclusive, and people seem to think I'm angry all the time, when the reality is just that I'm thinking about other stuff. I'm always up in my head - thinking about what I'm reading, or writing, or something bothering me, or planning what I'll say or do in an upcoming situation. And I don't like people, but you've all heard that a million times by now. I'll stick by my decisions and stay loyal to my causes, friends, family, and anyone I decide to align myself with (a leader), but if I'm unattached to any one point of view, I'll step back and wait for someone to prove themselves worthy of that loyalty. However, a significant betrayal will make me start to rethink that - I'm loyal, but not a blind follower.
I'm probably too cautious. I think way too much before I actually do something - a lot of that is hesitation, and a lack of confidence in my ability to get it done. I really believe in common sense, though, and not just running into a situation and playing it by ear. I plan everything I can, except occasionally stories.
What do you value the most? the people I love, my friends, my cats, my work and books. Justice, cheesy as that sounds. Sincerity.
Where could you be found on the battlefield?: supporting, and using long-range attacks.
Weapon of Choice?: magic. My arms aren't up to using real weapons. It's kind of sad. But I guess bows would be okay, if I had enough training? And throwing knives. Anything that can be used at a distance. A silence staff, even. (Berserk was stupidly effective in FE6. I'd go for that.)
Imagine you had a theme-song that played every time you appeared. Which song would it be?:
Uhhhhhh, I hate this question, um. >_> Okay,
Small Two of Pieces - it's the Xenogears ending theme, and considering my history with Xeno fandom, it's appropriate? Anyway, I love it, and have listened to it since before the game was released. It's... not really a theme song, though.
[It's All About The Choices]
Leader or Follower?: If my leader is intelligent and good at strategizing/keeping us alive, I'll follow. :D
Alone or in Group?: in battle, I'd prefer to stand behind a few meat-shields. Out of battle, alone.
Close or Long-range?: LONG RANGE please. I am such a squishy-scholar type.
Carefully plan your strategy before-hand or improvise as you go along?: Definitely plan - but I'd be willing to change according to circumstances.
Run or fight?: if it's more practical to run, I'll do it, and drag the team with me.
[All About Your World]
Imagine you could choose 2 Fire Emblem characters to fight by your side. Who would you pick and why?:
Zelgius. Oh Zelgius, you are an iron wall that entire armies break against, and you're good-looking too, what can I say! Uh, practically speaking, his defense and attack are through the roof, so nothing would get past him - which makes him the ideal meat-shield for a squishy scholar type like myself - and he's honorable. Left to his own devices, he'll keep his word if he makes a promise, and he doesn't care for violence and blood just for the sake of it. He's also loyal to the point of stupidity, if you're Sephiran.
And on that note, Sephiran - because I'd never get Zelgius without him, and also because he's a master with staves. I'm pretty sure he can use anything, and the goddess probably left behind some convenient knickknacks for him to use in his own defense like, say, the Ashera Staff. He's an accomplished diplomat, and his looks don't hurt for that. :D :D :D (Reeally, it's not just because I'm in love with Sephiran. Reach high, I say. He and Zelgius go wandering around the continent all the time, apparently, so it's not like I wouldn't have a chance to recruit them.) He's also too nice for his own good, and would help someone in need. As a friend said, he makes a terrible villain.
How would you convince them to help you?:
Appeal to Sephiran's better instincts - the ones that urge him to heal and protect, and do good. He'll probably follow willingly, assuming it doesn't interfere with his ultimate plan. His goals are to see what's going on around Tellius, and he can do that just as well while helping a poor scholar/mage/priest save their village or something.
And if you get Sephiran, Zelgius will follow. Hi, Zelgius! <3
Your group was surrounded by enemies and there is no way to escape. On top of that, one of them is injured! What do you do?:
Swear a lot, and either use a staff or an item to heal them. If I don't have either, I'll apply whatever first-aid I can, defend them, and try to get them to a healer.
If you were told that you needed to murder someone in order to help your friends would you do it?:
There's a huge philosophical difference between 'kill' and 'murder,' and I would probably say I'm not the right person for the job. If there's really no choice - if their lives depended on it - I'd do what I could to hire someone else to do the dirty work for me. Money well-spent, in my opinion, if it helps my friends and keeps me out of the dungeon so I can get back to them.
As you're walking through a small town, you find a poor family with two children who are starving! They ask you for some money, but you need it to buy weapons and supplies for your group! What do you do?: If I have any food on me, I'll give that to them. Alternately, I'd buy what I was sent to purchase, and get less for myself if necessary to save money for food to give to that family. If possible, I might take them to my group leader for help.
Describe the kind of clothing you would wear:
I really like long, flowing skirts - the kind that end around the ankles, so you don't step on them. Plain, solid colors are fine, and in fact I prefer black and dark colors (purple, green, blue). I definitely want some cool-looking boots, some gloves, and... some interesting way to put my hair up. Long sleeves that can be rolled up, probably a light cloak of some kind for the weather. Butterflies and flowers make great embroidered embellishments, too. :D I'm not big on jewelry, but I need to have a book bag to carry all my books and junk. The only "pretty" stuff I wear tends to be in my hair - hair sticks, combs, clips, whatever.
