Yup. We're like raccoons, only we're attracted to bullshit instead of shiny things- and we'll hang on to that shit that's bad for us for dear life. I actually think it's evolutionary to never be satisfied- but just like evolution led us to procreate as a top priority, there are some of those things that we can choose to override. ;)

Brandon I hope that you get feeling better. I know this is going to sound odd but I am taking a positive psychology and well being class. It has helped me with my shit a lot.

There is also another book you may enjoy. It is called The Artist's Way. It has a lot of great info that could help you find the answers to some of the questions that you asked.

I agree. Artist's Way is awesome! I may have a spare copy around here somewhere...

One thing: You always have what you need. (happiness included) Its when you let the "wants" control you that your fulfilled "needs" are overshadowed/forgotten and drama happens.
