2 years and counting......

I am more ambivalent about this then I should probably be, but I have come to terms with the fact that this just isn't going to happen is the foreseeable future.

Well if anyone was worried I am safe and well. I was one of the fortunate ones who still has power.

So tomorrow begins my week-long journey as a Wood Pulp-Based Sheet De-binding Technician. That's right people will actually be paying me money to take staples out of sheets of paper. You wake up one day and realize that you've been sleeping for almost two years. It is a weird sensation because you expect to be quite refreshed and ready to pick up where you left off, except where you left off is now some place much lower. Went to Chicago last weekend with Nicole and Colleen. Shanin was thrilled to see us and I was really glad to see that see was adjusting. That was really my first time in such a large city and it was quite an experience.
