Every time the day of a cooking class comes, every part of me says that I should never have agreed to do it... but as soon as it's over, I think fondly of it till the next one. I just don't know if it's worth the hassle and heart ache to cook sometimes. I know though, today I don't want to do it at all

May I have a few details? I want to wow somebody Saturday night and I think you might be my inspiration. I can handle the chicken and the yams, but the salad and banana dishes I'd love to know more about.

Maybe I should just kidnap you...

Here's the recipes I wrote to pass out before my class- I'm still not too good at composing them so it's not perfect. Also the salad was good but very plain. If I'd thought about it, I would have done a ring of avocado lined vertically down the sides of a mound of arugula, with cucumber slices alternating with tomato, the lime was nice, but I think a normal dressing might have been just as good or better as long as it had a good clean finish rather than being heavy. And the celery was sort of unnecessary. Also pine nuts would really complement everything well
