I feel myself sliding back into using work as a place to avoid thinking about anything... it's so easy just to work all the time or be busy with training or school. I've realized that in nearly every way I can imagine, I'm exhausted... I need to find a way to at least once a month have a day to myself with no work or school, and also one day take a vacation again. I was in archaeology class the other day, and we were discussing dating methods. In particular the use of historical documents as a tool to figure the age of something. Every time the day of a cooking class comes, every part of me says that I should never have agreed to do it... but as soon as it's over, I think fondly of it till the next one.
