Song for a Tiger Mother (or Dragon?)
Woww ... what an uproar over Battle Hymn of a Tiger Mother (see the WSJ article here). When I read it it feels like she was describing my life ... not entirely but a lot of it anyway. A totally weird, unexpected, and very annoying thing happened to my friend last night. He's a road warrior, meaning that almost every week he will go somewhere in the US to visit a client. It was cold that day ... winter rain with the occasional gust of wind. I've had a terrible week. I felt lonely and the winter season did not help.
