Woke up a little wet. That's okay. It was sort of refreshing, drowning early in the morning. I highly recommend it.

I'm going to go lie in the tent now and wish I was drunk. I gave Bilbo some string. He'll be amused for hours.

I'll just keep waiting until Merry and the children come back. They'll return any moment.

...several hours pass.

Any time now, they'll swim up and Merry will laugh over my being so worried.

Woke up in my tent alone and went looking for Merry, but I couldn't find him. Nor could I find Alle or Aran. Their tracks led down to the edge of the water and then disappeared. I swam out and dove over and over, but I couldn't find them.

Skinny-dipping has many benefits. Washing off the paint is one. Attracting stray Merrys wandering the beach is another.

This paint is freakin' hard to get off. ghglalhga! It's a comfort to know that Elfwine's in the same boat though.

I've been talking to Elphir for reasons only Eru knows why. Merry isn't very happy, but agrees I can think for myself. Which is nice of him. Of course the words, "...visit him over my dead body," were uttered. Then he got all hands, and I'll stop there because I think I blacked out screaming his name after that.
