Jonas stuck his casted arm into a dirty baby pool yesterday. We went to Urgent Care this time for a little variety. That child is going to be the death of me. He was very good. I think he just likes the cable tv. I did pick up some good medical swag. Tomorrow we see the specialist. Hopefully, he will fix things up for good or drug him enough ( Read more... )

Jonas saw the new Alice in Wonderland over a month ago, but he has mentioned the rabbit almost everyday. Today, he told me the rabbit went to the grocery store and it clicked. On nights when he works, I stay up late with Craig Ferguson.

Baby is staying put for now. Margaret thinks she is a little over six pounds and we are all hopeful she will not change residences for the next week.

So, I saw the midwife today and it would be helpful if we could all start picturing one of those films with a rose turning back into a bud. She said it would be ideal if I could make it two more weeks, but that it could be as soon as tonight. Guess I should avoid dinner with you, Susan. Lunch maybe. Military spouses with small children must be made of special stuff. We have not made it through Jason's first 24 hour shift yet. I know we will all adjust and plan transportation and sleep better. We dropped Jason off at station 29 at 6:30 this morning for his first day. He was sworn in yesterday after passing all his national tests. We were both too nervous and excited to sleep much.
