This is so great, dude. Spencer is such a delayed kind of sad, perfect for the situation and for being awake for so very long. I especially loved this:
He meant to say something innocuous like, Sorry for waking you or Do you have a minute? But that isn't right, because he isn't sorry and he needs more than a minute. Ooooooh, very well done, you.

One tiny thing: I think there's a couple of beta notes still in this. One in the second paragraph from the top (which I agree with, actually) and one in the sixth paragraph from the bottom.

I maintain that my notes are crucial to this story. Especially the ones that are basically just keyboard mashings of looooooooooooooove.

A few other things I love about this story:

1) that it is cold, and Spencer is underdressed;
2) that Spencer overtips;
3) JWalk's messy, messy bed. Boys!
