Festivals, Sickness, and a Rabbit
Well the first thing I want to share is about the festival and holidays I've recently experienced in Korea. The next festival I went to after the Cherry Blossom festival in Jeong-eup was the Barley Festival in Gongeum. There wasn't much to do their other than roam the fields of barley taking picture. My First Classes!
I want to update on what has been happening to me here in Korea. First off, I’ve finally had my first two days of teaching. My first day of teaching was on Monday. I was supposed to teach at some all girls middle school, but they had testing. I Arrived in Korea!!!
I made it to korea in one piece. It was about a 35 hour journey. Right now the school district doesn't have a place for me to live yet, so I'm living in a dorm for the next few days. The dorm is actually more a really nice apartment. Its not what we have in America ( Read more... ) -

Rissho
Every summer I do the Rissho roommate program. And every year I go early to pick out my roommates. This year picked out two girls by the name of Mamie and Rumi. I emailed both of them. Mamie has never emailed me back, but Rumi and I have been sending letters back and forth to each other. I must say I was really excited to meet her... except ( Read more... )
