I'm going to be skipping FRUiT on Tuesday and going to see Pirates with people from work instead, because that will be more fun than going to the movies alone. Which is my other option. My mom sent me this learn-to-speak-French CD set. I have been listening to the first disc, and it is slightly bizarre. Some of the "useful phrases" I have learned:- Long live the French bread!
- I would like to withdraw one hundred dollars.
- The cognac is very good.

I graduated yesterday! It was actually a lot of fun - almost all the ed people were there, and lots of other people from music, and as we were the first group to graduate, we spent most of the rest of the ceremony talking among ourselves. I have a job! I went to the most awkward group interview at the Ontario Science Centre on Monday -- they wrote down everything we said, and we had to wait after we had finished speaking so they could finish writing it down -- and got a call on Tuesday afternoon, offering me the job. Apparently my references all answer their phones quite promptly ( Read more... ) -

I'm all moved in at the new place and still trying to get a job. I have an interview next week and one the week after, so that's good, I guess. Waiting is boring, though.
